Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of my 22 students are excited to come to school every day. My Pre-k students come from different nationalities, backgrounds and incomes. As you may know, Pre-K sets the foundation of early literacy and skills for a strong academic future. They enjoy listening to interactive read-alouds, participate in pair share conversations and early writing.
These sensory materials are special because my students will be able to learn and play in a meaningful, fun, and hands-on way.
The sand and light table trays will help my struggling students practice correct letter formation, identify letter names and sounds and early writing skills.
