Alphabet Fun!

Help me give my students this hands on learning tub to help my students learn the alphabet and associate items that correspond with each letter of the alphabet.

My Project

Our Kindergarten classroom consists of many students who learn by hands-on engaging materials. I plan on using these alphabet tubs during our phonics lessons as we introduce each letter of the alphabet as well as our literacy center time during the day. The students can learn each letter through items they might see or associate with everyday. This would also be a great learning opportunity to build background knowledge for students that might not know what some items are or mean. This will be motivating to my students as they will be able to touch and discuss each item and not just see a picture of it. They would also have the opportunity to draw the items in their literacy journal. There are so many different ways these Kindergarten students can learn the alphabet by exploring these items. Help me make learning engaging and FUN!
