Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Kindergarten class will be spending the last 26 days counting down the Alphabet. Every day we will focus on a different theme/activity from Z to A.
The items of tablecloths, kites, jump ropes, cookies, Pirate gear, donuts, zoo animals and more will allow my students to create and review the letter of alphabet.
A few of the fun activities that we will be doing are : Z is for zoo- learn about zoo animals/wear a mask of your favorite animal. K is for kite- decorate a kite and then try to fly it on the playground. J is for jumprope- practice jump rope skills and learn jump rope rhymes.
We will end our Z-A countdown with a breakfast together enjoying foods of each letter of the alphabet.
