Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am so excited for the growth that my students have made to get ready for first grade. As we get ready for the end of the school year, we will be participating in an Alphabet Countdown. The last 26 days of school we will be doing fun thematic learning with a themed incentive to promote first grade readiness.

The toys, snacks and party favor incentives match the themes and will be earned each day by following directions, completing their work, being kind, and showing that they are ready for first grade.

My students have worked so hard all year long and I believe that they should be rewarded for their hard work. The end of the school year can be difficult for students knowing that change is coming, but fun days and prizes can help motivate them to continue learning.
