Aloha Marketplace!

Help me give my students with exceptionalities the opportunity to make tie-dye shirts, shoes, dresses, and bags for themselves. Students will also learn to make fruit cups, boba & lemonade in class to deliver on campus.

My Project

We cannot wait to implement my idea of "Aloha Marketplace." In my class, students will make tie-dye shirts, shoes and bags, fruit cups, boba, and lemonade boxes for the staff on campus.

My students are diverse, but one thing stays the same across the board—they love to communicate and interact with staff and the general education students on campus.

My students with exceptionalities will learn to express how they feel by creating various tie-dye products for the staff on campus. Tie Dye is a fun, creative way to help them learn how to look at an item and copy it. They also learn to follow directions and learn independence by tie-dying shirts, shoes, and dresses for themselves.

This extraordinary project will teach my unique SPED students functional life skills by providing real-life, hands-on learning experiences. This project will teach soft skills and help students emotionally as they continue to excel in a family-orientated school like ours!
