My Project
Hi!
I have been decorating the classroom with, "What does ALOHA mean to you!". Many students answered by saying: Aloha is love, caring, and showing kindness but also that it is a life style. I am new to the island and was trying to understand what is most important to these students so that I could belong with them.
As I try to be part of their lives, I want to make sure that they will be well educated with a strong ability to READ and WRITE. No matter what job they will pursue reading and writing are important life skills.
I am trying to ensure that the students are given the chance to read in a comfortable environment! Reading not because it is homework but to fall into the magical world of words! I want to show and teach them they can dream big! The ability to read and write will not be their setback but their best quality.
