My Project
As a former preschool teacher and current Kindergarten teacher, I greatly value the learning experiences gained from play. Creating play, that has a purpose, can be challenging if you don't have the materials to do so.
The materials in this project will help me to extend play with collaboration, creativity, and purpose.
The materials will be used not only during free play, but throughout the day as I invite my kindergartners to discover and make connections in reading, writing, math, phonics, social studies, and science, while strengthening their social/emotional development.
