This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The "All Booked Up" Book Club is the first club I've been able to host at our school. As an ELA teacher, nothing could make me happier than reading for fun with students who are excited to read anything and everything. This club will host students from grades 6-8 who want to branch out and read things outside of their comfort zone. Even though it seems the popular consensus is YA Fantasy, they are eager to read horror, thrillers, historical fiction, and romance too.
These students deserve to enjoy reading in school as well as out of school, with a brand new edition in their hands.
It's time to put the technology away and get back to basics!
