My Students

My students are from an impoverished area of the city. Most of our students are from households that receive government assistants. They are transitioning from middle school into high school, so I can play a major role in helping them mature into adulthood. Some of my ESL students have moved from schools where they were seniors. Now, they are freshmen in a new environment. My students are special, because they are young and innocent and I can be a positive role model to lead them into a successful future.

Although my students have exceptionalities, they are determined to succeed.

My students often try to assist others, so everyone can do well. This speaks volumes about their character.

My Project

These items will foster a sense of safety and comfort, while students learn in person. Our sanitation station will supply our students with items, such as masks, sanitizers, and disinfectants. I will disinfect students' desks with Lysol in the mornings and Microban during the day. I will share with students the effectiveness of these items against germs and viruses. Students will also assist with keeping their area sanitized.

Our class Sanitation Station will provide our students with safeguards against various illnesses that students face daily.

We will continue to strive to be as safe as possible, while we continue to learn in person.
