My Project
My first graders start school every day ay 7:30 am. Then our lunch time is 9:45 am. My students don't eat again until they go home after 2:10pm. This is a long gap of time that they don't have anything to eat, which leads to rumbling bellies.
We tried to do a class snack but not everyone was able to bring in something to eat, so this didn't solve the problem.
I want to have everyone have some type of snack option available to them. When our bellies are full, our minds are able to work better.
