My Project
I teach second graders. These second graders are so excited to participate in school when hands-on approaches and technology are involved. They are smart and creative. They are excited to participate in writer's workshop and publish all types of stories and create all types of art. They are excited to learn math skills, spelling, grammar, reading, vocabulary, and physical skills.
Second graders are the perfect age to foster a love of learning that should continue throughout their lives.
They live in view of the beautiful mountains and are active every minute of the day. Their favorite time is when we get together in our classroom for read aloud. They laugh and joke and support each other.
This project has a little bit of everything that we need and want to make our classroom a fun place to learn. For example, we need various art supplies like resin, gloves, and molds. We can use, prizes, treats, and classroom organization like a storage tote, pencil bags and plastic envelopes. We have larger classes this year. We need base ten blocks, blank writing books, Smart Pals, and water bottle holders to complete our class sets. We need colored flashlights to study light.
We are also requesting some basic supplies like printer labels, pencils, sharpeners, recess ankle skip balls, and snacks. This project requests these items and a variety of other items to help us. We appreciate you considering supporting our class. We couldn't do everything we do without donors like you.
