My Students
My students learn a lot from me throughout the course of a school year, but I learn just as much from them! I teach a variety of subjects, ranging from mathematics, reading, language arts, social studies, and science. I have third grade students walk in and out of my classroom every single day. My students are spunky, smart, and independent. They strive to achieve their goals, and they aren't afraid to ask for help to reach them!
My students know that I 100% believe that they can do the impossible!
My students come from all different backgrounds, the majority coming from a low-income household. However, this does not stop them from dreaming and setting goals for themselves. I couldn't be prouder of my students.
My Project
My students are living in a world full of technology and advancements, yet they still need to have an interest for reading. I have been teaching for seven years, but our classroom library could use some new and excting editions. My students have shown interest in a variety of books. Chapter books are essentially to a third grade classroom library.
Readers of all levels will benefit from having a variety of book selections and types of books such as graphic novels, chapter books, and picture books.
