Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal for this project is to provide my students with a comfortable learning space where they are given a great foundational start. The beanbags will help to facilitate this. My students’ families struggle to provide them with necessary supplies because they are often more worried about putting food on their tables. I want this project to help my students and families see that learning is important. These children deserve supplies that will make a difference in their learning so that we can level the educational playing field for students coming from low socioeconomic status backgrounds. I am also requesting markers and erasers to supply them. Their families work hard. I would like us to provide for them.
