My Project
My amazing All-Stars 1st grade ESL with students ranging from all abilities from GT to Special needs to dyslexia to ADHD, will ALL be able to thrive and learn because we will be so organized and set up with routines & procedures while taking care of & supporting ourselves & each other. We want to work collaboratively toward these successes in 1st grade! We are asking for some 1st grade ORGANIZATION SYSTEMS!
We need colored bins, trays, tubs, book bins and flexible work stations to keep all of our learning materials separated by colored table groups.
These materials will help us keep all learning supplies and manipulatives for each table, activity and subject, exclusive for each color coded learning stations. The standing desk and swivel chair for student teacher & peer conferencing at easily accessible walk up working stations as flexible seating options that can move around the room as students need, and will also be used as authors share chair and the standing desk for student presentations to the class. These items will help us in doing EVERYTHING by color table groups, including work collaboratively on projects & assignments, turn in work in an organized system, use math materials, work in literacy learning stations, read books, write in journals, easily access daily supplies, and art supplies. This keeps us super efficient and working at our max potential. We also need some cool pillows and tables to motivate us throughout the day!
