This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Research suggests that covering fluorescent lights in the classroom has many benefits, for both teachers and students. Most become used the bright lights, but with light covers, I hope to lessen the visual fatigue that can affect students. Studies have shown fluorescent lights can cause eye strain and headaches, and no one wants that!
Light cover can help with visual fatigue, which in turn lets students work headache-free!
I am also asking for mini chart paper to help document our learning. We create anchor charts as a class as we learn new skills and information. Answering questions and having group discussions are ten times more fun when you get to write your thoughts on poster paper!
