Help me give my students an iPad for online access to schoolwork while outside of the classroom.

My Project

I am requesting a new iPad mini with a case to take along with me as I conduct homebound services for some of my students. I have students who are unable to attend school in the traditional sense, so I go to them to help with their classwork.

Having reliable technology to connect to their courses will be beneficial for them to succeed.

These students are incredible individuals who want to do well in school, but have restrictions that keep them from being with their classmates. It is only fair that these students have the ability to complete their online assignments in the same manner as their classmates.

My students may not have the financial stability to have their own laptop to complete the assignments, and cellphones are not compatible to complete their work. I am often lugging my huge laptop with me to meet with these students, but an iPad will make the load I am carrying lighter and more compact. The iPad will work just as well for my homebound students.
