A BIG Oklahoma Hello! I am a current 4th Grade Teacher. We are a self-contained classroom which means I keep my students all day for every subject taught! We live in a rapidly growing community and I have 26 students this year.

Can you remember trying to learn Math when you were a child? I can almost guess that a terrible time comes to your mind. The good news is that there are resources now that will help children learn the dreaded multiplication facts. It no longer has to be pencil and paper. As I am sure you can guess, the materials do come at a cost. My school district is not in the poverty level, however, there is never enough money to go around to all the teachers. We house the handicap students at our school and most of our extra finances are spent to make things better for them.

As I mentioned before, students need to be able to touch, see, hold, and examine math much like we do other subjects. For so long math has only been taught with paper and pencil. We are in the new century and it is time to help fuel young childrens' minds. Would you rather learn fractions from a text book or play bingo? Would you rather write your multiplication facts ten times each or play bingo to learn them? I know the answer is easy - you would much rather play the game. Math can be fun and with these resources it will be fun for my students. My students and I are asking you for 1 Upper grade math manipulatives set, 1 multiplication/ division math facts champ game set, 1 math bingo library, 1 daily math reproducible activities set, and 1 daily word problems book.

Teachers understand the importance of a great education and sometimes we have to reach out to others to make that possible. My class would love for you to help fill our need of math manipulatives. My students will learn more because of you! Thank you!
