it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My name is Mrs. Gallegos and I am a Bilingual Special Education Teacher in a high ELL populated school in Queens. I currently teach all subjects - ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, Science and Arts. I would love to help all new incoming students in any way I can. I love to have some support to assist parents get all the supplies the students need for a successful school year.
My classroom is in need of various classroom supplies and manipulates for my special needs students.
Due to the many needs of my students, they required many color visuals to learn new vocabulary and hands-on activities to practice their understanding of new topics. It is amazing to witness little happy faces as they are able to complete activities or identify and read words they didn't know before. At the same time, it is important to maintain a clean surfaces to prevent germs from spreading around.
