Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I started teaching band at our high school last year. The lack of materials is something that the band program has been going through for some time.
The reeds and mouthpieces needed will help in the rebuilding of the band program, and help the students grow and enjoy music.
Most, if not all, of the students in the program are Hispanic/Latinos from the neighborhood that the school services. The students in the program are hard working and a pleasure to teach. Any donations will be greatly appreciated by not only the students, but also myself.
