This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Kindergarten students are amazing. They are highly enthusiastic, and they are always curious about learning. With this in mind, I am requesting a Heat Press machine, card stock, vinyl, and pens so my students can create their own geometric shapes.

We currently have a Cricut machine that will allow us to cut

different shapes, but we do not have the card stock and other paper resources. With your help and support, you will be making a significant impact in my students' education.

My plan is to teach my students about three dimensional shapes. They will explore by cutting two dimensional shapes out of card stock and then they will create three-dimensional sculptures. These activities will help my students build good math skills as well good innovative skills in the areas of engineering. To culminate our project, we plan to use the Heat Press machine to create a banner with all of our designs. Plus, we would love to use the machine to designs our own tee shirts. My students and I thank you in advance and we hope to count on your support.
