My students need a laminator and sheets so I can create schedules, reward cards, and daily class checklists.

My Students
My struggling students are amazing! They try to keep up with the daily lessons, home works, and classroom agendas. They need some help, and like most children with special needs they struggle with organization. It is my goal to help them get organized by the end of the year!
My school is a supportive environment that nurtures children.
Because of our diverse student body, and the subjects that I teach, my students range from all academic abilities in all grades and subject matter. My students are more visual learners, and are shy to participate and need assistance with basic classroom tasks.
My Project
With a laminating machine I can create many visually pleasing tools for them to use on a daily basis. A classroom checklist can be laminated for a student and can be placed where the student sits. A reward chart can be made for the student where a point can be earned for participation. And of course the white board will show the daily tasks/agenda.
I believe once these tools are in place for the student, they will feel a sense of control.
They will be organized. And learn how easy it is to do small changes that can be effective in the long run. For the classroom, I can use the laminator to laminate my sentence strips for the daily white board setup. This makes the board more visually pleasing to all the students and easier for them to see from the back rows.
