This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a group of wonderful Dual Language second graders who are excited to learn! My students are enthusiastic about becoming bilingual! Most of my students participate in a free or reduced-price. They are Hispanic and come from low-income families with at least one parent who has more than one job.
The seat covers will help my students keep their English and Spanish materials organized onto their desk chairs and cause less interruptions when transitioning to another task or subject.
I want my students to easily fit their Math, Language Arts, or Science workbooks in one place as well as their journals and save time as they switch to English to Spanish or vice versa.
