My Students
I am the gifted teacher for grades 1, 2, and 4. My students come from many different backgrounds and ability levels. They are inquisitive, creative and motivated.
Each of my students love hands-on activities.
I try to plan lessons that ignite a passion for learning and provide new experiences that they may not be exposed to.
My Project
LEGOs and K’nex focuses on hands-on learning with real world applications. I believe that hands-on learning is an effective way to teach students STEM. STEM teaches more than just math and science concepts. It helps develop a variety of skills sets, including critical thinking, creativity and 21st Century skills.
These materials will make learning fun and interesting.
My students will be prepared to bring knowledge and skills to solve problems, and know how to research and evaluate findings to make decisions. Finally, LEGOs and K’nex will enable the students to gain skills for life.
