This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have developed a love for reading. When asked individually what they enjoy reading, many of them listed off science fiction, historical fiction, and fantasy novels. The list of books we are requesting come directly from a list my students created. I created a Google form, and they filled it out. One of the questions was, "What is a book you would like to share with someone?" This list is created from that form.
This list is specifically curated from my students.
These are books they showed interest in and would love to share with their peers. By incorporating these into my classroom, it opens up a space where we can talk about books that we love and have a passion for.
