I teach a self-contained third grade class. My school is located in the inner-city.
A large percentage of my students are from low income homes. There are low supplies in the area of social studies and science. My students are very interested in these topics.
The students in my room will benefit from using the Weekly Reader and Time for Kids by enhancing their reading skills. These articles will presented information that the students are interested in and relate to their personal lives. They will also gain more current knowledge in Social Studies and Science.
You will make it possible for my students to gain and understand current events. It will also help them to develop into well rounded citizens in their communities. Your donation can open up doors to students not on just a community level but a country and a world level.

TIME For Kids Magazine- News Scoop Edition w/ TFK Around the World (grades 2-3). Pricing is valid for orders placed after March 2008.
