I have an amazing group of kindergartners and they love to work on the carpet. We often have an extra 11-13 students in the room when we have to split classes. We speak split classes because there’s a substitute shortage and whenever a teacher is absent that teachers classes are split and sent to the other two kindergartens.
Our classroom rug is small and does not fit 30+ students.
When the other class is displaced and sent to other rooms, I want them to feel welcome. This would go along and making sure there was room for all of them.
Your help and making this project a reality would be greatly appreciated. Kindergarten students spend a lot of time learning on the floor. They build create read listen right even do math on the carpet. It would be a wonderful addition to our classroom.
