My Project
What I love most about my students is that they are non-traditional young adults from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique stories, cultures, and perspectives into our classroom. They are resilient, curious, and full of potential—and they deserve a learning environment that reflects just how valued they are.
It is my honor and responsibility to make sure that from the very first day of school, every student feels welcome, heard, seen, appreciated, and empowered.
This project is designed to help create that kind of space—a classroom that doesn’t just house learning, but inspires it.
With your support, I will transform our room into a warm, beautiful, and inviting environment. Thoughtful decor may seem simple, but it sends a powerful message: You matter here. From inspiring quotes by incredible people of color to visuals that reflect the diverse identities in our classroom, every item will help students feel a sense of belonging.
These resources will show my students that I take them seriously—not just as learners, but as young adults preparing to shape the world. They will see themselves represented, their experiences validated, and their dreams encouraged. Our classroom will become a space where they are reminded daily that they come from greatness—and that they are capable of achieving greatness themselves.
