This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
TeachersPayTeachers is a website that allows teachers to share materials that they have created with other educators. A $100 gift card would allow me to purchase materials to enforce mathematical concepts like financial literacy. TPT has available bundles of lessons and activities that involve real life problem solving to teach students the importance of financial literacy. Financial literacy is often too ignored, although it is one of the key components to success in the future. It is imperative that is taught to our students from a young age.
This gift card would make a world of difference in our learning by funding new and exciting learning opportunities into my classroom surrounding financial literacy.
