My Project
As a dedicated teacher, I strive to create a classroom environment where every student feels valued, comfortable, and ready to learn. To make this a reality, I am requesting support for a project that combines innovative seating options like surf desks and stools, birthday surprises, and materials to help keep our classroom organized. Each of these elements contributes to a space that supports both academic success and student well-being.
Creating a classroom that encourages movement, choice, and comfort is essential to helping students thrive.
Adding surf desks and stools to our classroom will give students the flexibility to choose how they learn best. Surf desks are lightweight, portable lap desks that allow students to work in a variety of positions around the room, while stools provide alternative seating that supports movement and focus. These options encourage student choice and independence, which can lead to greater engagement and comfort during learning activities.
In addition to enhancing our learning environment, I believe in celebrating students as individuals—especially on their birthdays. I’d love to provide small birthday surprises such as pencils, bracelets, and birthday cards to make each child feel special on their big day. These simple tokens can have a lasting impact, particularly for students who may not receive much recognition otherwise.
To keep our space efficient and welcoming, I’m also seeking an organizational shelf. This will help us organize classroom books and supplies. When students know where things belong and can access materials easily, they’re more likely to take ownership of their space and their learning.
