This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are sweet and caring. They show enthusiasm to learn each day. However, Some struggle with doubt and believing in themselves. My project is to help them create a portrait of themselves. Students will draw an image that best reflects them. They will describe all the wonderful details about themselves that make them great. This is to help them see how awesome they really are.
My students will use crayons and construction paper to design their face.
They will glue their affirmations to the picture of themselves they design. They will add all the wonderful details that make them unique including hobbies, favorite food, goals, sport etc.
