Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Taking notes is an important skill for college. My students need to discover how new tablet technology can aid them in college.
My students attend a public school.
Desktops are the norm. My students do not have access to new technology like tablets. My students are very dedicated and love to share and contribute to my Algebra lessons by using a smart board. They want to learn other ways of taking notes and contributing to my lessons.
My Project
I am requesting 1 tablet for my students to use in the classroom. My students will learn how to take advantage of tablets for organizing their notes. They will learn how to share their notes. Students will be posting their Algebra notes online for their friends, sharing ideas and posting them on my school website using a tablet.
My students will have access to technology that would otherwise not be available to them because of economic reasons.
I know this will impact their future college experience. Taking notes is an important skill for college. Having technology such as a tablet will give any student an advantage when studying or doing group study sessions. You will be able to share notes and ideas with the push of button.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
