This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Algebra can sometimes feel a bit abstract to students. I would like to try using these Algebra Tiles to help them visualize math and understand what is actually happening when we combine like terms.
These Algebra tiles will provide my students with a fun way to explore algebraic concepts, add, and subtract polynomials, factor trinomials, and apply the Zero Principle.
These tiles are great as each shape and color represent different algebraic terms that students can visually and physically see in order to grasp the idea of simplifying algebraic expression.
