This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very active, inquisitive, and curious, and they show an enthusiasm for learning new things. They take risks in their learning each day and are brave enough to accept their mistakes as part of the learning process.
My students are very bright, sweet, and hungry for knowledge.
They are very creative and love opportunities to explore their imagination. I am looking to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. I want them to find learning fun as they engage in hands-on activities.
My Project
We need a classroom computer that is easy to use in our Kindergarten classroom. A laptop would help us in all areas of learning. We would be able to use it with for daily learning objectives, watch videos to support skills being taught, listen to our favorite stories, and can go on virtual field trips that we aren't able to go on in person.
Being engaged in a technology centered classroom will give all students a vital role in their learning.
My kindergartens will have the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals of a computer. If for some reason we go back to distance learning, my students will have the computer skills they need in order to continue their education online. In addition, an added laptop will also increase student involvement and excitement because they love being an integral part of what they are learning.
The alcohol-free foam sanitizer is for my kindergartens to have clean hands while not harming their developing and sensitive hands.
