it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work at a Title I elementary school predominantly serving students and staff of color, and we urgently need a rebuilt facility. Unfortunately, our school is not a priority for the district. Since returning from the COVID-19 pandemic, our building has deteriorated rapidly, resulting in severe illness and hospitalizations among students and faculty due to poor air quality. Providing air purifiers with HEPA filters is essential to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment. By addressing this critical need, we can focus on education without the constant fear of illness, ensuring every child and staff member can thrive.
