We are writing to respectfully request the provision of two portable air conditioning units for our large classroom. As the weather transitions into warmer temperatures, the current conditions within this particular classroom have become increasingly challenging for both students and instructors. Our classroom is significantly larger than typical classrooms and lacks adequate cooling, leading to uncomfortable and often distracting temperatures, especially during afternoon classes. This affects students' concentration, participation, and overall well-being, hindering their ability to engage with the curriculum entirely. Proper climate control is essential for maintaining an optimal learning environment where students can focus on their studies without the added burden of excessive heat. These portable units would offer an immediate and effective solution to a pressing issue that impacts many students' academic performance and comfort daily.
Adding two portable air conditioners would significantly improve the learning atmosphere in our classroom.
Given the room's substantial size and high occupancy, a single unit would likely be insufficient to provide comprehensive cooling; hence, requesting two units would ensure even and effective temperature regulation across the entire space.
