My Project
I love the unique qualities of each of my students. They are excited about school and they are ready to learn. However, sometimes those unique qualities can hinder their learning. I want to provide sensory tools to create the best learning environment. For example, those students who are distracted by anxiety can use the weighted wrap as a calming tool; those who are wiggly can use the chair bands or balance board to get wiggles out. Origami is another great stress-relieving activity. No one wants to be singled out or look different than their peers. The tools would be available to anyone.
I want to make learning accessible to each one of them to the highest level.
By providing multi-sensory tools, each student can "own" their learning style and progress to the best of their ability.
