This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My first graders are very eager to learn! We are a Title I school, so I always strive to give them the best school experience that I can. Creating a fun and engaging classroom will help foster their academic growth.
My Project
I want to help foster the love for reading by being able to teach the children how to read. In my district we use a phonics program called Fundations. I used it for the first time last year. While I love the program, I soon realized I needed improvements in my room to really make the program effective. This dry erase paper will be on top of my chalkboard to create a whiteboard and the primary lined chart paper will help show letter formation. Please help in supporting my project.
