Aid Our Future Generation Through Literature and Resources

Help me give my students a broader view of the world and the additional help to grow and become successful academically. The students in my class are very inquisitive and thirst for knowledge, but resources are scarce.

My Students

I have the most energetic and tenacious students. Many come from challenging circumstances, such as poverty, however, this fact does not hamper their desire to learn. If anything, it drives them. They love school and tell me daily.

My students are extremely inquisitive, their two favorite questions are "Why" and "What if".

My students are very competitive, thus they are constantly challenging themselves to get to the next level, whatever that may be. They thrive in an environment of hands-on activities.

My Project

My students live in a small town full of pride and rich in history. Many of my students come from low socioeconomic circumstances, so resources at home are scarce. However, these students are bright, inquisitive, and get excited when introduced to new ideas, cultures, and they thrive with hands-on learning.

I plan to use the Time For Kids magazine subscription to broaden their academic horizons.

Our school does not have a formal social studies curriculum. The magazine subscription has online resources for teachers to plan lessons. The manipulatives will help my hands-on learners learn and understand abstract ideas like math.
