Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are in grades nine through twelve, plus additional years of vocational-transition (ages 15-21). We are a small, public school tucked away in the beautiful mountains. We are avid outdoor adventurers, and our lessons are geared towards Community-Based Vocational Instruction (CBVI).
My Project
My students have been learning on a hybrid model. A learning hybrid model means students are in-person learning for two days and learn from home the other three days.
Gatorade keep a person hydrated, during intense activity.
It can also replace electrolytes, during times of illness, such as stomach viruses.
I send home weekly work for my students that include snacks.
I want to send each student home with enough Gatorade for the week to ensure they get their needed hydration. My students have physical activities they are required to do while at-home learning and they need to drink fluids.
