Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, learning happens every day — and so do sniffles, sneezes, and tears (both happy and frustrated!). We need tissues to help keep our students healthy, clean, and ready to learn. Without them, students often use their sleeves or leave the room to find paper towels, which interrupts learning and spreads more germs.

Teaching is challenging on any day — but teaching while students are constantly sniffling and sneezing is even harder.

Having an extra supply of tissues will help my class stay comfortable and focused, especially when cold season comes our way.

This project also includes face masks, so students can help keep each other — and our entire community — healthy. I am also asking for ziplock bags to be available as needed for my classroom. With these simple but essential supplies, we can keep more energy on learning and less on runny noses.
