Help me give my students some hands-on experiences with genetics and science kits like "ABO-Rh Blood Typing" and "Population Genetics and Evolution" that will meet their unique needs!
My students come from the lowest socio-economic status county in Arizona. We have gained 80 students in our high school this year, making seats and hands-on supplies very short. The genetics kits will help students learn science in real settings, not just in theoretical situations.
Many of these students ride buses for an hour each way both morning and night, rising before the sun and going home way after dark, just to come to school.
I would like to provide them a good justification for their efforts and family's sacrifices to get them here each day!
More than a third of students from low‑income households
