Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my agriculture students is their curiosity, creativity, and drive to learn through hands-on experiences. Whether we're in the classroom or working outdoors, they’re always engaged when they can create, build, and apply their learning to real-world agricultural concepts. Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds and thrive in environments that allow them to work collaboratively, think critically, and express their understanding in creative ways.

The bluetooth speaker, pencil sharpener, colored pencils and other classroom essentials in this project are essential tools for bringing agriculture to life in the classroom.

These supplies will be used for plant journals, project posters, landscape design mock-ups, and other interactive assignments that reinforce key concepts like soil health, plant anatomy, sustainability, and the role of agriculture in our daily lives. The heavy-duty electric pencil sharpener ensures that students always have ready-to-use tools during class, and the classroom speaker will help energize group activities, provide instructional audio during labs, and support student presentations.

These resources may seem simple, but they will have a big impact on how students engage with agricultural science. With a well-stocked, creative classroom environment, students can explore agriculture with confidence, collaborate more effectively, and take pride in their work. Your support will help provide the foundation for a dynamic, student-centered space where agriculture education is accessible, exciting, and relevant.
