My Project
Whenever I ask my students what they love most about school, PE is often a popular answer. It is a part of the day that many of my students look forward to and one that I constantly wish we had more time for. While my school has many resources such as cones, flag football belts, tennis balls, etc., the items I am requesting will help my students further build their hand-eye coordination, increase agility, and help with team building and relationships.
In addition to PE, I also plan to use these items for brain breaks throughout the day.
In my past experience, I have realized that incorporating shorter 5-10 minute breaks throughout the day has positively benefited my students. These short brain breaks have not only helped my students perform better academically but have also helped my students grow closer to one another. There is nothing I love more than looking around my classroom and seeing my students laughing and interacting positively with one another.
