My Project

My students crave relationships. They struggle on social and emotional skills and need opportunities to interact with peers. With the chance to play games, make crafts and science projects, my students can start to form friendships.

I need to create structured experiences where they can practice the skills we teach and have the joy of making friends.

This will not only benefit my students, but the typical peers who have the privilege of working with the kids and learn the how to be empathic. We offer many Unified sports and theaters but need more activities that focus on leisure skills.
