Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am lucky enough to be able to direct after school musicals at my elementary school. I love doing it! The kids learn so many great skills, gain confidence, make friends with many students including those in other grades, and have the exciting opportunity to show their stuff to their friends and family.

It takes a lot of hard work and energy to pull off a school musical and my students need snacks to fuel their creativity and get them through the many hours of rehearsals.

The snacks provided for these young actors give them the needed energy to work hard and give it their all even after working hard through an entire school day before rehearsal. Many of my students come from low-income homes and don't have the ability to provide their own snacks. Let's give these dedicated students what they need to help them in their efforts to participate in the performing arts!
