This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love seeing my students hanging out in the Band room after school but more importantly, I love seeing them race down to the Band room for a jazz band or pep band rehearsal.

Once my students get to after school rehearsal on concert days, they ask “Is there any food?

I’m starving! Some of my students choose not to eat their lunch or were not hungry because they ate a big breakfast.

However, when they come in the Band room after school, the first thing they say is they’re starving and are there any snacks. With your help, you can provide a free snack to my students who stay after school for jazz band rehearsals and dress rehearsals on concert days. These long days will give my students the extra energy they need to perform well. Please help! Thank you so much!
