Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to support my students get better at coding by hosting a once weekly hour of code. All coding equipment and software that I am requesting will provide my 9th grade computer science class coding and digital skills which encourages creative thinking and problem solving, hands-on experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

The micro:bit is an accessible tool that will engage students whilst they learn computer science and STEM topics.

It will be used in a variety of projects including games, interactive arts and robotics.
