Advisory Activities to Improve Teens' Mental Health

Help me give my students requested items to build relationships with one another during our advisory meeting time. These are items students specifically requested to have.

My Project

Students have asked for the following games, puzzles, origami and more in hopes they can continue to build community with their peers during advisory time. This advisory period is intended to allow students to create bonds with one another and connect them to the school community. With the prevalent addiction of cell phones, we have found students' mental health has been disturbed. These activities will allow students to explore the good old fashion way of connecting with each other without cell phones as the school's new policy this year is to enforce a policy of no cell phones during the school day. We asked students what kind of activities they would want to engage with one another with and these are the activities they requested. As we know engaging in community activities will drastically help students' mental health.
