Reading is such an important part of first grade so it is important to find each student's interests so they will love to read. This project has many books of different genres and difficulty to help students find their love of reading. In addition, there are many fun picture books that I plan on using to dive deeper and get students talking about. Understanding what is being read and discussing it, is another very important skill learned in first grade. I am so excited to share these stories with my students this year and watch their love of reading grow.
