My Project
The students I teach have shown the capacity to go above and beyond in their education. I teach enrichment to small groups of students for language arts and mathematics in grades 2-5. These students love to be challenged and to think beyond what is given to them. They are truly impressive!
As an enrichment teacher, I provide students with an advanced learning opportunity.
With this being said, books are hard to come by because of my "pull out" model, and lack of classroom library. The books that are chosen are selected by each of the students. These books provide me with the opportunity to enrich their learning in both reading and comprehension. Students will have access to their own books which can be taken home. The books chosen provide an open door for students to use their imagination and give elementary level students the ability to become college and career ready, with the lessons I will provide.
